Although there is rain around today, we are going to modify todays program to suit every one! It is a brilliant opportunity to help athletes and parents to understand how our centre works and how to perform and run events. The safety of our young athletes and the comfort of our families always comes first at Sunnybank Little A’s. When there is wet weather around our procedure is:

A decision will be made by 1200 pm on the competition day if we need to cancel the centre comp for the day.
A notice will be placed on the news board of our website sunnybanklittleathletics.org.au  and our facebook page.

The lost competition day will be rescheduled to a reserve day later in the season.

Fathers Day belongs to Dads and their families so we won’t be interrupting that time by scheduling training on Sunday 02 Sept…..Happy Fathers Day to all our Dads and Grandads!

Round 12 is now open for voucher applications.Round 12 will close when all available vouchers are issued so check your eligibility and apply now

Eligible applicants are Queensland children and young people aged from 5 to 17 (inclusive) who either hold or whose parent, carer or guardian hold a valid Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card with the child’s name on it; or

Although we are experiencing intermittent showers we are going ahead, with a highly modified program………..track events only, punctuated by some fun races and games. There’s a free sausage sizzle and zooper doopers and of course the good old bananas thanks to Coles!

Saturday is our final Centre Comp day for the 2017/2018 Season.

Arrival 3:00 pm for 3:30 pm event start. There will be a period where we cease events to have a few fun games and everyone can have a free sausage sizzle and zooper doopers! If it’s hot we’ll have a bit of water play …..bring a towel!

Make sure you bring your achievement books and pink/blue achievement cards (if you had them issued previously).
