Training Sunday 06 Nov at QSAC
Training Sunday 06 November will be held at QSAC, cnr Mains and Kessels Rd, Nathan.
We want everyone to experience the feel of the Tartan track and the atmosphere of the larger stadium venue. It will be particularly helpful for our Regional Relay athletes who will be competing at QSAC on Saturday but, as always, everyone is welcome!
Timing is still 3:30 – 5:00 pm.
No Training – Sunday 30 Oct!
There will be no Centre training Sunday 30 Oct due to the Junior Pentathlon/Senior Carnival, being held at QSAC. Good luck to all of our Sunnybank Competitors.
School Holidays
Just a reminder, there is no Centre Comp Saturday 24 September or Training this week due to School Holidays.
We will return next week Saturday 01 October for our Week 3 Program.

Rescheduled Week 3 Centre Comp
Our cancelled Week 3 of Centre Competition (Sat 10 Sep) has been rescheduled to a Reserve day on Saturday 01 Oct (last Saturday of the September school holidays.
Cancel Comp Saturday 10 Sept
Due to the unstable weather the decision has been made to cancel Centre competition for today 10 Sept. The safety of our young athletes and the comfort of our families is our priority.
We are also unable to drive vehicles onto the oval when it has been wet due to damage that may be caused to the grounds, making it impossible to deliver larger equipment to event areas.
The lost Competition day (week 3) will be rescheduled to a Reserve day later in the season.
Wet Weather Policy
In the event of Wet Weather a decision will be made if we need to cancel the centre competition by 12:30 pm on the day.
A notice will be emailed to all families, posted on the News board on the SLAC Website and advised on our Facebook Page.
I will also be down at the ground to advise any athletes/families who may not get the message.
The safety of our Athletes and the comfort of our Families is of utmost importance to Sunnybank Little A’s. Any and all lost Competition days will be rescheduled to one of our Reserve days later in the season. Isabel
Get Started Vouchers for Round 8 have been exhausted.
Unfortunately all Get Started Vouchers for Round 8 have been allocated….already! The next round of funding’s anticipated release is mid January 2017.

Get Started Vouchers
Round 8 of Get Started Vouchers opens on Wednesday 13 July 2016.
The program provides eligible children and young people aged 5 to 17 (inclusive) with a voucher valued at up to $150 for membership and/or registration fees. It should be noted that vouchers are issued on a first come, first served basis; therefore there is no guarantee that a child or young/person will obtain a voucher.
Sunnybank Little Athletics accepts the Get Started Vouchers as full payment for Registration Fees.
