The Centre Committee will be meeting this week to set dates for the 2017/2018 season. Sign-on sessions will be held in July, Orientation and Competition will commence in August. All confirmed details will be posted on the website, emailed to previous members, announced on Facebook and notices will be placed in local school newsletters.

Our 2016/2017 Season Presentation Day and AGM is on Saturday 22 April 2017 at Our Lady Of Lourdes School, Shearwin St, Sunnybank from 11:30am – 4:00pm. Trophies, rides, face painting and Burgers! If you haven’t RSVP yet this your last chance to ensure your athlete and family are included in the numbers.

Our final 2016/2017 Centre Competition is Saturday 11 March. Week 2 program (rescheduled rain interrupted comp on Sat 21 Jan).

Training Sunday 12 March for State Champs qualifiers only 3:00 – 5:00pm.

Due to the continuing extreme weather conditions Centre Competition for Saturday 04 Feb will commence 3:00 pm sign in for 3;30 (sharp) event start

Centre Comp for Saturday 28 Jan is on normal timings – 1:30 pm sign in and warm up for 2:00 pm events start. The heat is still intense but pushing the start time back to 3:30 pm could see us run into rain as happened last week!

Utilise the abundant shade and water, hats and sunscreen on and we should all have a good afternoon.

There will be no Tuesday Training for the remainder of the season due to Coach unavailability.

Isabel doesn’t get home, after work, until 5:00 now, making it impossible to continue afternoon training during the week. Sunday training will remain unchanged 3:30 – 5:00 pm throughout the season.

Due to the continuation of the heat wave, rather than lose another Competition day,  we have decided to amend the timings to avoid the middle of the day heat:

3:00 pm arrival for notices and warm ups

3:30 pm sharp to start events

3:30-4:30 pm for Tiny Tots

Set up will be from 2:00 pm, if you can assist we would certainly appreciate it.
