Saturday o6 August 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Sunnybank High School (oval), Gager St, Sunnybank
Get Started Vouchers
Round 8 of Get Started Vouchers opens on Wednesday 13 July 2016.
The program provides eligible children and young people aged 5 to 17 (inclusive) with a voucher valued at up to $150 for membership and/or registration fees. It should be noted that vouchers are issued on a first come, first served basis; therefore there is no guarantee that a child or young/person will obtain a voucher.
Sunnybank Little Athletics accepts the Get Started Vouchers as full payment for Registration Fees.

Senior Pentathlon/Junior Carnival Sun 06 Mar 2016
Nominations are now being taken for the LAQ Senior Pentathlon/Junior Carnival. Nomination Forms and info have been emailed to all and are available on Centre Comp Saturdays at the main tent. Final day for Nominations is Saturday 27 Feb 16
No Centre Comp Sat 06Feb16 – Regional Champs all weekend.
Just a reminder, there is NO CENTRE COMP AT SUNNYBANK tomorrow due to the Regional Championships . Champs will be held over both Saturday and Sunday from 0800 at SAF, Cnr Kessels and Mains Rds, Nathan.
If you get the chance bring the kids up to have a look at how the Carnival runs and cheer on our Sunnybank Athletes! There will also be NO TRAINING on Sunday. Training will resume at the oval Tuesday 1630 – 1800
Training Sunday 31 Jan 16 is at SAF, Nathan
Training this Sunday is at SAF, Cnr Kessels and Mains Rds, Nathan 3:30-5:00 pm. This is an opportunity for the kids to get used to the Tartan surface and the facilities we are using next weekend at the Regional Championships. All athletes are welcome to join in and experience training at the athletics facility. Meet at the entry gate on the outside track.
Centre Comp Cancelled Sat 30 Jan
After consultation with the Centre Committee the decision has been made to cancel today’s Centre Comp. The combination of heat, humidity and probable showers throughout the afternoon is enough to say let’s give it a miss. The safety of our young athletes and comfort of our families is what we are always concerned about.
It is currently showering in Sunnybank and the radar is showing a line of weather that will continue to develop passing this way for a while.
As usual our lovely Margaret has baked goodies and we will be at the oval from 1:30 – 2:30 for anyone who would still like to get their weekly fix.
I’ll send another email advising of details for next weeks Regional Champs later today. Today’s canceeled comp will now be rescheduled to a reserve day 05 Mar 16.
Centre Comp Sat 30 Jan
We are currently considering the weather conditions for today and keeping an eye on the radar, a decision will be made by 1200 if today’s comp will go ahead or whether it is going to be too uncomfortable for our young athletes and families.
Notice will be posted on this website, our facebook page and emailed to all to advise. If today is cancelled it will be rescheduled to a reserve day towards the end of the season.
Centre Comp is ON Sat 23 Jan
At this stage there is no sign of the predicted storms on the Radar. It’s certainly humid enough to indicate some weather may come in so we’ll keep an eye on it and if it looks like somethings on the way we’ll pack up and get out.
Hopefully if it does happen it’ll be later this avy and won’t effect Little A’s.
