2015/2016 Season Sign ons …. Nearly here!
Our new season will be commencing with sign ons from 08 August 2015. Dates, timings and venues will be announced next week. Emails will be sent to last season’s families and those making enquiries as soon as details are confirmed in addition to being posted on our website.
2015 Presentation Day
Our End of Season Presentation Day will be held on Saturday 18 April 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, 19 Shearwin St, Sunnybank.
Arrive 11:30 am…… BBQ from 12:00 pm…… AGM 1:00 pm…… Trophy Presentations from approx 1:30 pm.

2015 LAQ State Championships.
Now that our Centre Competitions are completed for the 2014/2015 Season it’s time to focus on the LAQ State Championships being held this weekend Fri 20 Mar – Sun 22 Mar at QSAC, Kessels Rd, Nathan.
Good Luck to all of the competing athletes, please ensure you check the state championships program and be at the stadium a minimum of 1 hour prior to your event time.

Unfortunately the weather isn’t being kind to us this weekend and although we have had sunshine today it is currently showering over the oval. Along with some pretty soggy areas and the possibility of more light showers this avy Ros and I have decided that conditions just aren’t suitable for Training.
I will still be down there at 3:30 for anyone who wants to lodge Senior Pentathlon/Junior Carnival Noms (or call me 0412022028 if you can’t make it this avy and wish to nominate). Be aware Deb needs to lodge the Nominations with LAQ tonight! Isabel
Cancellation Saturday 21 Feb 2015 / Nominations Senior Pentathlon/Junior Carnival due.
We’re making the call early this weekend, with the amount of rain so far today and the expected rain over the coming weekend, Centre Competition for Saturday 21 Feb has been cancelled and will be now be rescheduled to our final Reserve day for the season Saturday 14 March. Nominations for Senior Pentathlon/ Junior Carnival (SAF 01 March) are due Saturday 21 Feb so we will be at the oval between 1:00-3:00pm for submission of Nominations.
Regional Championships Sat/Sun 07/08 Feb 2015
There will be no Centre Competition or Training this weekend (Sat 07 and Sun 08 Feb) due to the South East Regional Carnival at SAF, Kessels Rd, Nathan. Athletes entered are reminded to arrive 1 hour prior to their events scheduled start time.
Please ensure you have correct Sunnybank uniform (old or new version), Reg Number, Age patch and Jetstar patch.
Louise is Team Manager for the Carnival, report to her at the Sunnybank tents on arrival. The tents are set up at the Southern end of the track in front of the canteen.
Sunnybank is running Boys Triple and Long Jump for the duration of the Carnival.
