Today's Sunnybank LA competition, Round 3 Week 3, has been CANCELLED due to the weather!!!

Our Centre Manager, Isabel Green has sent the following email:-

SLAC - Cancellation of Competition Sat 28 Jan 2012

Good Morning All,

I don't think it will come as a surprise to anyone that we have decided to cancel competition for today.
With continual showers and rain all week, and the lack of sunshine to dry the ground out, the oval is in no state to run athletic events on. This lost comp day will be rescheduled for one of our reserve days later in the season.

Ros and I will be down at the oval (where the canteen is usually set up) from 1:30-2:30 to ensure no-one misses out on getting their nomination forms in for the upcoming Regional Championships.

My apologies for anyone who has been trying to contact me on my home phone, Telstra is trying to correct a fault with it and is unsure how long it will take!

Another exciting season of running, jumping, throwing and walking is about to commence for all of the athletes of one of Queensland's longest serving Little Athletics Centres...Sunnybank Little Athletics Centre!!!

Our Centre caters for children aged from three years, with our Tiny Tots program, right through to Under 17's... check our new season's calendar so you can come along and join in the fun!!!

The centre has a register of coaches who each have specialty areas in track and field events.

Sunnybank Little Athletics is a family orientated centre which offers young athletes the opportunity to experience all the fun of athletics with mum and dad close by.

This website will provide you with some general information about us, however please don't hesitate to send us a message at enquiries@sunnybanklittleathletics.org.au if you would like to know anything more specific or call by when we are up and running for the 2011/2012 season and see us in action..

We will endeavour to answer any emails as soon as possible however our messages are monitored by a volunteer in their own time so please allow a little leeway for your response...especially during the off-season!!!

We really look forward to sharing our next 30 Years of Family, Fun and Fitness with you!
