Important Venue Change for
SER Championships
All members participating in the SER Championships scheduled for this coming weekend at Mansfield State High School are requested to note that the venue has been changed to Cleveland State High School.
This decision came through from the Regional Coordinator as a result of the condition of the grounds at Mansfield SHS over the past weekend being too wet for the mowing and marking of the arena to take place as planned.
An email will be circulated to members alerting them to this change and will include the helper roster for Girls Shot Put, however please check with any members you have regular contact with to ensure they are aware of the change as soon as possible.
As per the season calendar there is no Centre competition at Sunnybank on Saturday 13 February due to the Championships.

Sign-On for Little Athletics Season.
Sunnybank Little Athletics Centre held its sign-on day for the 2007-08 season on Sunday, August 26, from 1-3pm at Sunnybank High School.
The centre has gone from strength to strength over the past two seasons following a membership drive and changes to the way Saturday afternoon competitions were run.
An increased membership base following a highly successful 2006-07 season has encouraged the centre to build on that.
It is hoped to continue the trend with a fresh focus in several areas, and the introduction of Sunday afternoon training sessions for registered athletes under the guidance of coaching officer Shane Perkins, in addition to Tuesday night sessions.
The centre has a register of coaches who each have specialty areas in track and field events.
Sunnybank Little Athletics is a family orientated centre which offers athletes the opportunity to experience all the fun of athletics with mum and dad close by.
