The Committee appointed Roslyn Werder as its Coaching Officer.  Ros was Centre Manager  during the 2007-2008 Season and Coaching Officer during the 2008-2009, 2006-2007 and 2005-2006 Seasons.   Ros is well qualified to again take on this role with a Level 2 Coaching Certificate in Sprints, Hurdles, Relays and Throws.

During the two Sign-On Days, the Sunnybank Committee was kept particularly busy with new athletes joining and other re-signing including some that have come back after experiencing other Centres in the last few years.

Sunnybank's first Competition Day is September 4, 2010 with Warm-Ups and Sign-In commencing at 1:30pm.

At the first meeting of the new 2010/2011 Centre's Management Committee, Wayne Currie, the Officials Coordinator, was appointed to the position of Assistant Centre Manager.

The commitee also decided that Sign On days for the aproaching 2010/2011 Season be Saturday 21 and 28 August 2010 with the first Centre Competition Day on Saturday 4th September 2010.   An Orientation of the various athletic events for new members  will be also conducted on the 2nd Sign On Day, Saturday  28 August 2010.

The Annual General Meeting of the Centre was held at the Sunnybank Hills Library on Wednesday 16 June 2010.   After the Centre Manager's Report and the Treasurer's Report (the latter presented by the outgoing Centre Manager on behalf of the Treasurer), the Meeting elected the following to form the the new 2010/2011 Centre Management Committee.

 Secretary                       Laurellen (LJ) Currie
 Treasurer/Registrar        Rachel Lobb
Officials Coordinator      Wayne Currie
Programs Officer             John Mitchell (Life Member).

The new Centre Manager, Isabel Green, has been a committee member for several years and was formerly the Assistant Centre Manager. Isabel has Level 2 Coaching Certification in multiple events.

John Mitchell held various positions of the Centre's Management Committee in the late 1980s and early 1990s and was awardwed a Life Membership in 1994.  Since 2001, John has assisted the Centre once every three weeks or so with Officiating, as well as Officiating at Zone/Regional Competitions.  John also has extensive experience with Queensland Athletics competitions and administration.
